Background & Training
Dr. Williams obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors from David Lipscomb University followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in 1992. He graduated with Honors and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, as well as being awarded the AAOMS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award. He later went on to attend medical school at the highly respected University of Alabama where he graduated in 1996.
After completing a general surgery internship and being awarded The General Surgery Best Teaching Intern, Dr. Williams further pursued his interests in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama, currently one of the top programs in the United States. Dr. Williams went on to earn his Board certification of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
For years Dr. Williams has trained and observed with some of the most world-renowned Cosmetic Surgeons to further his knowledge of cosmetic surgical skills and to ensure the best treatment outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Williams has shared his knowledge and experience with residents and students as a faculty teaching position at the University of Tennessee Maxillofacial Surgery Department for nearly 20 years.
