What is Juvederm®?
Rejuvenate your face with Juvederm® offered by Dr. Micheal Williams – a dermal filler that can minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Juvederm is a new facial filler that lessens the appearance of facial lines and folds. As the body ages, it slowly begins to lose its supply of hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for skin elasticity and hydration. Juvederm works to replace this lost hyaluronic acid, restoring a smooth, supple appearance to the face.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM JUVEDERM?
If you’re concerned about facial lines and wrinkles, Juvederm may be right for you. Juvederm is also a great option for people who have lost volume in their cheeks or lips.
Juvederm can treat:
- Nasolabial folds
- Moderate to severe facial wrinkles
- Marionette lines
- Thin lips
- Hollow cheeks
Juvederm can give you a smoother, younger-looking appearance. Juvederm offers more natural looking results than many other fillers.
If you have an active skin infection or a previous allergy to any of the ingredients in Juvederm, you may not be an ideal candidate for treatment. The best way to determine if you’re a good candidate for Juvederm is to schedule a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic doctor.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR JUVEDERM INJECTION
Prior to injection, a topical or local anesthetic can be applied to your face to minimize discomfort. Your face will also be cleansed with an antiseptic to reduce your risk of infection. Treatment areas will be carefully determined and marked for injection.
Using a fine needle, injections will be made at each marked location, at varying levels beneath the skin. Following injection, your cosmetic doctor will gently massage your skin to ensure even distribution beneath the skin. Only one treatment is needed for noticeable improvement.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
You can return to your normal schedule immediately after Juvederm treatment. You may experience some redness near injection sites, which can last for a few days. Swelling is also a possibility but should resolve within a week. Any discomfort can be treated with over-the-counter medications.
As swelling subsides, the results of your procedure should become more evident. Your face may appear over-filled at first but will settle into its final appearance within a week. The final results will last 6-9 months before being naturally absorbed by your body. Repeat treatments will be needed to maintain results long-term.
Why I recommend him: He is very good at educating and answering questions. He does a thorough investigation. He spends an appropriate amount of time with you. He responds to emails through the patient portal promptly. However, he does book out probably 4 weeks out for follow-ups.

I have been going to him ever since (over five years now). I am more than grateful to him and his support group. Every detail is covered well in visits, always easy to schedule, and on time.
