Fat Transfer Breast Enhancement is a cosmetic surgery procedure performed to enhance the size of the breasts using the patient’s own fat rather than implants. Prosthetic breast implants filled with a saline solution or silicone gel have commonly been used to achieve fuller breasts, but some women dislike the idea of having a synthetic material placed in their bodies for the enhancement. At Williams Surgical Arts we are happy to offer a more organic approach by achieving enhancement through a fat transfer. The fat transfer method provides two-fold results by eliminating excess, unwanted fat in one area of a patients body and using it in an area where fat is lacking to improve the overall body contour and proportions.
Fat is typically procured from the patient’s buttocks, abdomen, or thighs before being purified and injected into the breasts. Ideal candidates for the fat transfer breast enhancement have excess fat in another era of their body and wants to improve their breast fullness by 1/2 a cup to 1 full cup in size. Ideal candidates should value a more natural look and shouldn’t be considering having a child within the next year. Ideal candidates should be in good health and have realistic expectations for the procedure and potential results.
